Aisromokeo
BA project
BA project
Aisromokeo
For this project, we had as a team to study a specific cult and imagine how a society based on their principles would look like. We decided to research the infamous Church of Euthanasia, a cult that believes that the only way to save the planet is by destroying humanity prior to it. I started exploring the idea of explicit propaganda that this cult is famous for perpetrating. I slowly realised that they heavily relied on visual propaganda with very strong, raw images and posters. I tried to adopt their perspective and understand their lifestyle free of my own judgement, thereby coming up with this set of posters. On top of that, we created political parties, one comprising of the extreme take on this ideology (Sromosuk) and another one that is more moderate (Raevmuk).

We then shifted the focus of our research from the death aspect of this ideology to the relationship that these people wanted to cultivate with earth. I was very interested in the legislative part of our project and I was exploring how laws could change a society completely. As we had the opportunity to create an island based on a cult, I delved into the idea of an extreme constitution that would shape the behaviors of this new society called Aisromokeo.

I then designed small projects to experience how would some of the amendments apply on Aisromokeo.
Amendment II:
All creations is universal in the eyes of earth, humans are equal to animals.

This picture for instance is a collage of what the island looked like a hundred years ago, living in harmomy with animals.

Animal Super Market

This is an experiment inspired by the same question of equality between humans and animals. In that regard, I was interested in the idea of accessibility in a space. Therefore, I designed a kiosk in a public park that is intended to be accessible to humans and every animal, whatever species and method of mobility.
I then decided to recreate in my garden to see if it would work. I decided to explore the how could apply a super market to the animal kingdom (my garden). I also wanted to explore how the accessibility to a space participates to its creation and its structures, in this case focusing on animal accessibility.

The main wildlife animals one could find in London are: foxes, birds and squirrels. With the help of a veterinarian, I designed the structure to feed each animal.
For foxes

For birds

For squirrels

Amendment VII:
Human intervention is the cancer of the world,
any form of construction must be
harmonious with nature.

Since the Church of Euthanasia had such an interesting relationship with death, I wanted to really expand on this and push this cyclical concept further. `i designed a case where an inhabitant of that island would bring all of his belongings, some dirt and the seeds of a tree of his choice to his death. He would also choose his burial site as a child, and that site would be the commulation of all his natural waste throughout his life. By doing that, the ground would potentially be very fertile due to a lifetime collection of compost. By filling the case with dirt, seeds and the human body, a tree will blossom from the death of the person and by doing that the individual would give back to nature what it gave to us, a life.
